The most recent release, "Interior Department Announces Largest Expansion of Fishing and Hunting on U.S. Fish and Wildlife Managed Lands and Waters," was submitted on Aug. 30.
The Department of Interior published 16 the month before, the same as the current month.
The Department oversees more than 500 million acres of land. Downsizing the Federal Government, a project aimed at lowering taxes and boosting federal efficiency, said the department has contributed to a growing water crisis and holds many lands which could be better managed.
Funding for the Department's efforts to secure more land increased 13 percent from 2017 to 2021, totaling $15.4 billion by 2021.
