Department of Energy, Department of the Interior and Army Corps of Engineers to Renew Five-Year Partnership to Advance Hydropower - Archive

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Tuesday, March 24, Deputy Secretary of the Interior Michael L. Connor, Under Secretary for Science and Energy Franklin M. Orr, and Assistant Secretary of the Army Jo-Ellen Darcy will gather at the U.S. Department of the Interior to renew a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and new 5-Year Action Plan to advance hydropower across the country.

The three agencies will formally sign an agreement extending their existing partnership to help meet the need for reliable, affordable, and environmentally sustainable hydropower over the next five years, building upon an MOU signed on March 24, 2010.
