BEND, OR – On March 27, Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewel will join Oregon Governor Kate Brown and Department of Agriculture Deputy Under Secretary Ann Mills to announce a landmark agreement that will encourage ranchers and other landowners in Central Oregon to protect and enhance habitat for greater sage-grouse.
The agreements are part of an overall partnership approach to conserving the sagebrush landscapes throughout the West while providing regulatory certainty for landowners.
