ST PAUL, MN – On April 28, Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell will join Saint Paul Mayor and President of the League of Cities Chris Coleman, Salt Lake City Mayor and First Vice President of the League of Cities Ralph Becker, and YMCA of the USA President and CEO Neil Nicoll to announce a new partnership to inspire millions of young adults and veterans to play, learn, serve and work in the great outdoors.
The press announcement is a follow-up to a Secretarial Order issued by Jewell on March 30, 2014 to significantly expand recreational, educational, volunteer and career opportunities for millions of youth and veterans on the nation's public lands, including partnerships with businesses and youth organizations to support the Obama Administration's 21st Century Conservation Service Corps (21CSC).
