Secretary Jewell to Announce New Efficiency Partnership Projects to Help Conserve Water in the West - Archive

LOS ANGELES, CA – As part of the Obama Administration's commitment to help reduce the impact of the western drought on livelihoods and the economy, U.S. Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell and Bureau of Reclamation Commissioner Estevan López will join California officials on Wednesday, May 20, to announce major projects to improve water efficiency and conservation in California and 11 other states affected by the historic drought.

Jewell and López will join Los Angeles Department of Water and Power Chief Sustainability and Economic Development Officer Nancy Sutley to discuss ongoing state-federal partnerships working toward a more sustainable and resilient water future.
