LAS VEGAS, NV - On the heels of President Obama's comprehensive climate action plan to reduce carbon pollution and move our economy toward American-made clean energy sources, Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell will join Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and MGM Resorts International on Tuesday, July 2 for a clean energy announcement.
The press conference will also serve as a preview to the upcoming National Clean Energy Summit, where Sec. Jewell will serve as a keynote speaker. The sixth-annual summit takes place on Aug. 13, 2013 and attracts clean energy leaders, public officials, business executives, energy policy experts, entrepreneurs, investors, citizens and students to discuss how to empower the public with the tools to promote clean energy, increase energy independence and create jobs.
