Secretary Salazar, California Gov. Schwarzenegger to Tour Renewable Energy Sites, Hold News Conference - Archive

On Monday, March 22, 2010 Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will visit a proposed solar energy site and a solar energy facility in Southern California and hold a news conference at the largest solar plant in the world.

The sites to be visited include Abengoa Solar Inc.'s proposed Mojave Solar complex near Hinckley and the NextEra Harper Lake Solar Electric Generating System (SEGS) facility in Hinckley. The Secretary and Governor will hold their news conference at the NextEra Harper Lake SEGS Facility starting at about 1:00 p.m. Due to space limitations, the tour will be pooled.
