Speech on Global Warming

WHAT: “Newsmaker" Luncheon with Senator Barbara Boxer"

At a Wednesday “Newsmaker" luncheon at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif), Chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, will deliver an update on the issue of global warming in light of the U.S. Supreme Court's recent rebuke of the Bush Administration on greenhouse gas emissions. Senator Boxer will lay out a multi-pronged approach for combating global warming, including legislation and immediate steps that can be taken by government, businesses and individuals.
