Senator Boxer said: "Schools should be a safe and healthy environment for children to learn, and that means kids need clean air to breathe and water that is free from dangerous toxins. National Healthy Schools Day is a reminder that we must protect kids inside their school and outside on the playground. Healthier schools lead to healthier kids."
