The below is attributable to Spokesperson Ned Price: Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke today with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah. The Secretary and the Foreign Minister discussed Russia’s threats against Ukraine and the importance of dialogue to de-escalate the situation. The Secretary noted that he looks forward to hosting the Foreign Minister soon in Washington for the fifth U.S.-Kuwait Strategic Dialogue.
