On February 11th, at approximately 7:00am, members of the U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force, arrested Tyreek Moore, 36, in the 3500 block of Dixon Avenue in Bristol, PA. Moore was wanted for two Bucks County Sherriff’s warrants for possession of a firearm prohibited as well as a Bucks County probation violation with the underlying charge of aggravated assault. After disabling his GPS monitoring December 2021, Moore became a fugitive and the case was delegated to the Marshals Service shortly after.
This morning, Deputy Marshals developed information Moore may be visiting a female associate in Bristol, PA. At approximately 7:00am, task force investigators from Philadelphia knocked and announced their presence at the residence and after brief a brief negotiation, Moore was apprehended without incident. Moore was then transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Fred Harran, the Bucks County Sheriff stated, “The Bucks County Sherriff’s office appreciates and values the partnership we have with the United States Marshals Service. Today is an example of what cooperation between a County and federal agency can do. Being able to track down and taking into custody without incident a dangerous criminal helps maintain the safety of our community through the spirit of cooperation between agencies”.
The Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force is a team of law enforcement officers led by U.S. Marshals in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. The task force’s objective is to seek out and arrest violent crime fugitives. Membership agencies include the Philadelphia Police Department, Pennsylvania State Parole Officers, Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Attorney General Agents, Chester Police Department, and Bucks County Sheriffs.
