Washington, DC - U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., Chairwoman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, today issued the below statement following a meeting with Committee Members, USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack and EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson.

“The meeting with Secretary Vilsack and Administrator Jackson was an opportunity for Senators to share our concerns about regulations on America’s farmers, ranchers, and foresters. This discussion that is being established by the Committee will continue through a working group to find common ground on these issues. In the end, we all share the same goal of strengthening our economy, protecting our food supply, land and water, and empowering our nation’s farmers."
