WASHINGTON -Senators Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), Chairwoman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, and John Boozman (R-Ark.), Ranking Member, today postponed the Committee business meeting to consider the nominations of Dr. Chavonda J. Jacobs-Young to be Under Secretary of Agriculture for Research, Education, and Economics and Margo Schlanger to be an Assistant Secretary of Agriculture. The meeting will be rescheduled at a later time.
