Pallone Applauds Obama Administration’s Plan to Combat Global Climate Change

“I am pleased that President Obama and the United States continue to lead the world in the fight against man-made climate change. By transmitting its Intended Nationally Determined Contribution to the United Nations today, the United States solidifies its commitment to reducing emissions by 26-28 percent from 2005 levels by 2025. Many other countries, including China and other developing nations will follow our lead shortly, increasing the momentum for a successful outcome in Paris by the end of the year. I applaud the foresight, vision, and transparency that this action demonstrates worldwide."
