WASHINGTON, DC - The bipartisan leaders of the House Energy and Commerce Committee on Tuesday will host patients at the U.S. Capitol to discuss H.R. 6, the 21st Century Cures Act. Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI), Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO), Health Subcommittee Chairman Joe Pitts (R-PA), Ranking Member Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ), and Health Subcommittee Ranking Member Gene Green (D-TX), will be joined by the visiting patients for a press conference on Tuesday, June 16, at 2 p.m. at the House Triangle.

The bipartisan leaders commented, “Patients - they’re what #Cures2015 is all about. Their strength and optimism inspire each of us every day and their support throughout the 21st Century Cures initiative has helped bring us to where we are: continuing the momentum of a 51-0 approval in our committee and a growing list of supporters.
