WASHINGTON, DC - Patients, the inspiration behind the “game-changing" 21st Century Cures movement, joined bipartisan leaders this week to express their support of H.R. 6, the 21st Century Cures Act. Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI) reiterated, “This has always been patient centered." With 164 co-sponsors and counting, #Cures2015 is closer than ever to becoming a reality.
Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI), Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO), Health Subcommittee Chairman Joe Pitts (R-PA), Ranking Member Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ), and Health Subcommittee Ranking Member Gene Green (D-TX) were joined by visiting patients and their loved ones to hear about how H.R. 6 will help transform their lives and the lives of patients, families, doctors, and researchers all across the country.
