WASHINGTON, DC - The House Committee on Energy and Commerce today announced its hearing schedule for the week of April 25.

On Friday, the Subcommittee on Energy and Power will hold a legislative hearing to consider bills to increase cooperation between the DOE and NRC in the development of nuclear technologies and to optimize NRC licensing, budgeting, and regulatory processes.as they are posted.
Also on Friday, the Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade will hold a hearing to examine the pet medication industry. Members will discuss issues facing the $60 billion industry and hear the perspectives of experts in veterinary medicine and consumer protection.as they are posted.
