Washington, D.C. - Energy and Commerce Ranking Member Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) released the following statement today on the individual mandate repeal being added to the GOP tax bill:
“Republicans in Congress are so determined to pass tax cuts for the rich that they are willing to kick millions of Americans off their insurance and increase premiums for millions of middle-class families.
“Cutting taxes for the ultra-rich and corporations in exchange for ripping health care away from millions of Americans is a new low even for this Republican Congress."
