WASHINGTON, DC - The Subcommittee on Digital Commerce and Consumer Protection, chaired by Rep. Bob Latta (R-OH), announced today a hearing for Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at 10 a.m. in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The hearing is entitled, “Review of Emerging Tech’s Impact on Retail Operations and Logistics."
Next week’s #SubDCCP hearing will examine how the e-commerce industry has changed the face of retail and how retailers are responding in a world where technology, innovation and consumer expectations are constantly evolving both in-stores and online. Members will discuss how the proliferation of online shopping impacts supply chain and delivery, and how emerging technologies will help retailers improve the consumer experience.
