WASHINGTON, DC - The Energy and Commerce Committee today released the fourth video in a series featuring committee members highlighting their legislative efforts to combat the opioid crisis. These videos will highlight just a handful of the 57 legislative solutions the committee advanced to the full House in May.
In today’s video, Rep. Bob Latta (R-OH) highlights H.R. 4284, the Indexing Narcotics, Fentanyl, and Opioids (INFO) Act of 2017. H.R. 4284, authored by #SubDCCP Chairman Latta, will direct the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to create a public and easily accessible electronic dashboard linking to all of the nationwide efforts and strategies to combat the opioid crisis.
“Combating the opioid crisis requires an all-hands-on-deck response, and that means ensuring local officials and those on the front lines of this epidemic have the best information and resources available," said Rep. Latta.
