Health Subcommittee to Hold Legislative Hearing Reauthorizing Public Health Programs

Energy and Commerce Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Health Subcommittee Chairwoman Anna G. Eshoo (D-CA) announced today that the Health Subcommittee will hold a hearing on Tuesday, June 25, at 10 am in room 2322 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The hearing is entitled, “Reauthorizing Vital Health Programs for American Families."

“This legislative hearing will kickstart the Committee’s work to reauthorize critically important health care programs that expire later this year," Pallone and Eshoo said. “We are looking forward to hearing from public health experts on the need to reauthorize programs that support newborn screening, emergency medical services for children, autism care and research, and respite services for family caregivers."
