Energy and Commerce Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Health Subcommittee Chairwoman Anna G. Eshoo announced that the Health Subcommittee will hold a fully remote legislative hearing on Wednesday, July 29, at 10 a.m. (EDT). The hearing is entitled, “Improving Access to Care: Legislation to Reauthorize Key Public Health Programs."
“The Health Subcommittee will consider several bills next week to renew important public health programs," Pallone and Eshoo said. “The hearing will focus on ways to assist patients with certain specialty transplants, improve education and support for young women with breast cancer, advance school-based health centers, encourage development of new treatments for rare pediatric diseases, and fund the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency."
This hearing will be conducted remotely via Cisco Webex video conferencing. Members of the public may view the hearing via live webcast accessible on the Energy and Commerce Committee’s website. Please note the webcast will not be available until the hearing begins.
