Washington, D.C. - House Energy & Commerce Republican Leader Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) announced today that Rep. David B. McKinley (R-WV), Republican Leader for the Environment and Climate Change Subcommittee, will host a forum entitled “Mounting Costs: The Real Harm of the Biden Administration’s Environmental Agenda on the American People and the Economy" on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 4:30 PM ET.
The forum will examine the harmful impacts that the Biden Administration’s radical environmental policies will have on the American people and the economy. These impacts include increased electricity rates, increased manufacturing costs, and the loss of state and local tax revenue. The forum will focus on policies like the accelerated transition to weather-dependent resources for the grid, electric vehicle mandates, and the use of regulations and executive actions to eliminate fossil fuels from the U.S. energy mix.
This Forum will take place in the Gold Room of the Rayburn House Office Building. Members of the public may view the forum via live webcast available on the Energy and Commerce Committee Republicans website and YouTube page.
The list of participants will be announced prior to the forum.
