PORTLAND, Maine - Michael J. Ferguson Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration for New England and United States Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II announced that James Levesque -, 54, of Sanford, Maine pleaded guilty yesterday in U.S. District Court to distribution of oxycodone.
Court records reveal that on March 7, 2014, in Sanford, Levesque sold 40 - 80 milligram oxycodone pills, through a middleman, to an individual working with law enforcement.
Levesque faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine. He will be sentenced after the completion of a presentence investigation report by the U.S. Probation Office.
This case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the York County Sheriff’s Office.
