BOEM Oregon Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Task Force Meeting
On Feb. 25, 2022, BOEM will host an Oregon Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Task Force webinar.
The purpose of the meeting is to:
- Provide an update to Task Force members on activities relevant to offshore wind energy, and
- Discuss area(s) for potential wind energy leasing (referred to as “Call Areas”) offshore Oregon.

Pacific Fishery Management Council - BOEM Meeting
On March 4, 2022, the Pacific Fishery Management Council (Pacific Council) ad hoc Marine Planning Committee (MPC) will host an online meeting to discuss the next steps in the authorization process for commercial offshore wind energy leasing.
In addition, BOEM representatives will provide an overview of potential “Call Areas” offshore Oregon, followed by discussion with the MPC and meeting participants.
This meeting is open to all interested parties, especially members of the fishing community, that operate in the Oregon offshore wind planning area.
