NOTE: The report by the Chief Actuary for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which was requested by House and Senate Republicans in March, projected health care spending will increase by $311 billion over the next 10 years and 14 million Americans will lose their current employer-provided coverage as a result of the Democrats’ health care legislation. The study also estimated approximately half of all seniors who participate in Medicare Advantage - roughly 7 million seniors - will no longer be covered by the program.
