***MEDIA ADVISORY*** UPDATE: House-Senate Joint Conference Committee on K-12 Education to Hold First Public Meeting

Today, November 18th, at 2:30 p.m., a House and Senate conference committee to reauthorize the Elementary and Secondary Education Act will hold its first meeting in HVC-201 of the Capitol Visitor Center. At the first meeting, members of the conference committee are expected to deliver opening statements.

WHAT: Meeting of a House-Senate joint conference committee on K-12 education

WHEN: Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 2:30 p.m.

WHERE: HVC-201 of the Capitol Visitor Center

NOTE: The joint conference committee is open to the public and press; however, seating is limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. Overflow seating to watch the public conference committee meeting is available in 2261 Rayburn House Office Building and 430 Dirksen Senate Office Building.
