THIS WEEK: Subcommittee Hearing on the Summer Food Service Program

On Tuesday, July 17 at 10:00 a.m., the Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education will hold a hearing on “Examining the Summer Food Service Program." The hearing will take place in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

The hearing will explore the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) management of the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), discuss the importance of the program, and identify challenges providers face in serving meals during the summer months.
