Shuster Statement on Introduction of Senate FAA Bill

The following press release was published by the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure on March 9, 2016. It is reproduced in full below.

Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Bill Shuster (R-PA) today released the following statement on the introduction of the Senate’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reauthorization:

“I commend Chairman Thune and his Senate colleagues for moving forward with an FAA reauthorization. Over the past few years, our committees have successfully worked together on a highway bill, Amtrak legislation, and a Surface Transportation Board reauthorization. I look forward to continuing our work and building upon our previous successes by completing an FAA bill that provides critical reforms for the FAA and the Nation’s aviation system."
