Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Bill Shuster (R-PA) today released the following statement on the introduction of the Senate’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reauthorization:
“I commend Chairman Thune and his Senate colleagues for moving forward with an FAA reauthorization. Over the past few years, our committees have successfully worked together on a highway bill, Amtrak legislation, and a Surface Transportation Board reauthorization. I look forward to continuing our work and building upon our previous successes by completing an FAA bill that provides critical reforms for the FAA and the Nation’s aviation system."
