Next Tuesday, the Subcommittee on Aviation will hold a hearing to examine the state of aviation safety in the United States. The Subcommittee will hear testimony from federal agencies, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the Department of Transportation Office of Inspector General (DOT IG), as well as experts from the aviation industry.
The hearing of the Aviation Subcommittee, chaired by U.S. Rep. Frank LoBiondo (R-NJ), is entitled, “The State of Aviation Safety." The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
