Business Meeting on Keystone XL Legislation to be Held

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, today announced that she intends to call a business meeting on Thursday, Jan. 8, to markup an original bill to approve the Keystone XL pipeline.

The business meeting will take place at 10 a.m. in room 366 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. The legislation to be considered by the energy committee is identical to the bill reported favorably by the committee on June 18, 2014.

The business meeting will be webcast live on the energy panel’s website.
