Burlington, VT - The U.S. Marshals Service arrested Kolby Blaise, a fugitive wanted by the New York State Police for Assault, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Blaise, 21, allegedly struck the victim who is over the age of 65 in the face during a road rage incident. Blaise is no stranger to the New York state legal system as he has also had his license revoked 12 times in the past and is facing further charges on separate matters.
U.S. Marshals worked on the fugitive investigation since Feb. 07, 2019 to gather intelligence on Blaise’s whereabouts. It was believed that Blaise was actively evading arrest from law enforcement and was hiding out in the Grand Isle County area. Blaise was arrested on Tuesday Feb. 19, 2019 by US Marshals and members of the US Border Patrol on Bay Road, in Alburgh, Vermont.
Blaise was transported to the Vermont State Police, St Albans barracks where he was charged in the State of Vermont as a Fugitive from Justice and held on $20,000.00 bail.
