Sexual Assault Fugitive Arrested in Vermont

Burlington, VT - The U.S. Marshal arrested a fugitive wanted by the State of Pennsylvania for Failure to Appear to a scheduled court hearing.

Brent Mansur-Carr, 36, was wanted out of the State of Pennsylvania for one count of Rape Forcible Compulsion and one count of Sexual Assault. Mansur-Carr failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing on March. 19, 2019.

The U.S. Marshal Service quickly gathered intelligence that placed Mansur-Carr in Vermont. It was believed that Mansur-Carr was actively evading arrest from law enforcement and was hiding out in the Brattleboro, Vermont area. Mansur-Carr was arrested on Friday March 22, 2019 by U.S. Marshals and members of the Vermont State Police on East Town Farm Road, Putney Vermont. Mansur-Carr was transported to the Vermont State Police Westminster Barracks where he was charged in the state of Vermont as a Fugitive from Justice.
