Cincinnati, OH - U.S. Marshal Pete Tobin is pleased to announce that during the evening hours of June 25, 2019, the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested fugitive Jacob Julick on an outstanding warrant from the Commonwealth of Kentucky Court of Kenton County, for Attempted Murder of a Police Officer, Possession of a Firearm, Fleeing or Evading Police, Probation Violation and Wanton Endangerment.
On June 6, 2019, Julick allegedly shot at a police officer during a traffic stop in the City of Erlanger, Kentucky. Julick was not located by authorities after the shooting incident. On June 22, 2019, Julick allegedly used a motor vehicle to ram law enforcement vehicles during another traffic stop in Kenton County, KY; Julick fled the area after the incident. Kenton County investigators filed an arrest warrant for Julick and requested assistance from the U.S Marshals Service. The U.S. Marshals fugitive task force developed information Julick was in the 3000 block of McHenry Drive in Cincinnati, OH. U.S. Marshals SOFAST, Cincinnati Police Department Fugitive Unit, Cincinnati Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics Team, U.S. Marshals Task Force from the Eastern District of Kentucky, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit, and Kenton County law enforcement authorities arrested Julick hiding in the attic of a residence. Julick is currently in custody at the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
