U.S. Marshals Request Public’s Assistance to Locate Fugitive Jalil Branson

Martinsburg, WV - The U.S. Marshals Service Mountain State Fugitive Task Force is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Jalil Branson, 24, of Shepherdstown. On June 7, a warrant for Branson was obtained by the Shepherdstown Police Department charging him with strangulation stemming from an incident that occurred on the same day.

Branson has a history of domestic abuse of women. At the time of the June 7 warrant, Branson was on bond from a previous domestic battery and strangulation warrant from December, and he was arrested in April 2017 on domestic battery charges that involved multiple victims.

The Marshals believe Branson is still in the Jefferson County area. A previous address was on German Street in Shepherdstown.
