Memphis, TN - With help from the Multi Agency Gang Unit and the Memphis Police Department, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force was able to arrest two suspects accused of violent crimes.
On 8/27/19 warrants were issued by Shelby County for the arrest of Keivion Mabry and Gregory Grandberry. Mabry was wanted for First Degree Murder, Carjacking and Employing a Firearm with the intent to commit a felony. Grandberry was wanted for Attempted First Degree Murder and Aggravated Robbery. The charges stem from an incident at Southland Mall on 7/9/19.
Investigators with the Task Force tracked the fugitives to 3900 block of Macon Road. The Task Force had the assistance of MGU and MPD officers from Tillman and Raines Station. The door had to be breached in order for the fugitives to be arrested. They were taken into custody without further incident.
The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force with divisions in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. The Western Tennessee Division of the GCRFTF has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis Police Officers, Madison County Sheriff’s Deputies, Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies, Jackson Police Officers, BATF, and the Tennessee Department of Corrections Special Agents. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators.
