WASHINGTON, DC - Today, House Oversight and Reform Committee Ranking Member Jim Jordan (R-OH) and House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Doug Collins (R-GA) sent a letter to U.S. Attorney John W. Huber requesting an update on his investigation of the actions taken by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) during 2016 and 2017, including the process by which they undertook to comply with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
Excerpt from the letter:
“Your investigation has been ongoing for over nine months. During the course of our extensive investigation we have interviewed more than a dozen current and former DOJ and FBI personnel, and were surprised to hear none of these potentially informative witnesses testified to speaking with you."
