Oversight Republicans Request Briefings Following Capital One Data Breach

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH), Ranking Member of the Committee on Oversight and Reform; Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC), Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Government Operations; and Congressman Michael Cloud (R-TX), Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy, sent letters to Capital One and Amazon requesting briefings on the recent breach of Capital One data. The Capital One data was stored on a cloud storage service provided by Amazon Web Services.
