Washington, D.C. (July 20 2020)-Today, Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy, issued this statement following an announcement that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) notified companies, including Puff Bar, to remove flavored disposable e-cigarettes and youth-appealing e-liquids from the market because they do not have the required premarket authorization:
“Puff Bar never should have been on the market-it is an illegal product that targets. I’ve been alerting FDA about Puff Bar since March and waiting for them to act. Today, FDA finally responded and did the right thing-it decided to protect our kids and the public health."
