An investigations by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations led to a 21-year sentence for a Kentucky woman.
Monica Bradley, 62, of Louisville, was sentenced to 262 months in federal prison, followed by a life term of supervised release, for reportedly producing and possessing child pornography images of five minor victims, according to an April 4 news release. There is no parole in the federal system.
"The lengthy sentence is a gratifying outcome for our special agents and a testament to the severity and horrific nature of the crimes," said Special Agent in Charge Jerry C. Templet Jr. "We can only hope that this sentence serves as a part of the lengthy healing process for the victims, and we thank our law enforcement partners for a successful outcome."
ICE reported Bradley produced the pornographic images over the course of a five-year period. The Louisville Metro Police Department aided in the investigations. The sentencing occurred March 29.
“We will continue to combat the sexual exploitation of children through aggressive federal prosecution,” said U.S. Attorney Michael A. Bennett.
Bradley's husband, Curtis Bradley, was additionally sentenced in early March for his commission of multiple offenses, which includes the production and possession of child pornography, the news release reported. He was sentenced to 50 years in federal prison. Further, he must serve a life term of supervised release upon the completion of his sentence, just like his wife.
Curtis Bradley reportedly performed sex acts on one of the victims, an 11-year-old who was provided by his wife, in exchange for drugs and money, according to the news release.
