TSA to host recruiting event for Transportation Security Officers for Boston Logan International Airport

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is holding a two-day recruiting event Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30. The recruiting event will assist individuals interested in applying for a job as a Transportation Security Officer (TSO) at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).

Attendees will receive information about full-and part-time TSO positions and have the opportunity to complete multiple steps of the hiring process. The event includes application assistance, computer-based testing, interview, and medical.

Starting pay at BOS is $24.60 per hour. TSA is also offering a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 for BOS, $1,000 after onboarding and an additional $1,000 after one year of service.

The event takes place at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Boston Logan Airport, 207 Porter St. between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on both days. Because participating in the information session and preliminary hiring process components can take a few hours, TSA recommends arriving early in the day.

Candidates are required to have two valid forms of state or federal identification, as well as proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter the hotel. Attendees will also receive validated valet parking free of charge.

TSA seeks those who want to take the initial step into a rewarding federal career and support TSA’s critical mission of protecting our nation’s transportation systems. For more information on the TSO position and to learn more about TSA careers, visit jobs.tsa.gov/TSO.
