Finance Committee Advances Trade Nominees

WASHINGTON - The Senate Finance Committee today unanimously advanced the nomination of C.J. Mahoney to be Deputy U.S. Trade Representative and the nomination of Dennis Shea to be Ambassador to the World Trade Organization.

“C.J. Mahoney and Dennis Shea have each demonstrated they are accomplished and capable of carrying out the important jobs they have been nominated for," Hatch said. “If confirmed, both of these nominees will help establish international trade rules and negotiate trade agreements, ensuring U.S. interests are well-represented on the global stage. I look forward to their quick and fair confirmations on the Senate floor."
