Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden, D-Ore., today issued a statement after the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services sent letters to Arkansas and New Hampshire withdrawing federal approval of the states’ adoption of these burdensome restrictions on Medicaid:
“This is a critical step towards demolishing the mountain of bureaucracy the Trump administration and Republican governors sought to put between American families and their access to Medicaid. I applaud President Biden on once again standing up for affordable and accessible health care, especially during the pandemic."
