GDP Data Reaffirms; Americans Need a Plan that Will Create Jobs Now

Washington D.C. - “This morning’s data simply reaffirm what Americans already know - our economy is hurting. Congress can and should act to help American families and our economy through these difficult times. Republicans have offered a plan that, based on analysis by the President’s senior economic advisors, could create 6.2 million jobs in the next two years. I look forward to continuing to work with President Obama to craft a stimulus plan that will create private sector jobs now - when Americans really need them."
