Brady Praises House Action to Help Foster Children Find Homes Sooner

WASHINGTON, D.C. - House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) today issued the following statement after the House passed H.R. 4472, the Modernizing the Interstate Placement of Children Act:

“This bill will help foster children across America be placed in the right homes more quickly, providing these children with needed stability and greater opportunities to succeed. I appreciate the leadership of Congressmen Young and Davis on this important legislation, and I look forward to further strengthening the child welfare system to support families and protect more children."
