Neal Statement on Humana Exit from Health Insurance Marketplace

WASHINGTON, DC - Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Richard Neal (D-MA) today released the following statement after Humana announced it will exit the health insurance Marketplace beginning in 2018:

“Republican efforts to sabotage the ACA have now driven Humana to exit the Marketplace. Republicans’ refusal to provide certainty is harming American business and middle-class consumers. Republicans complain there is lack of choice, but it is their policies that are causing competition to wither."
