Brady Announces Senior Staff Change for Ways and Means

The following press release was published by the U.S. Congress Committee on Ways and Means on Nov. 29, 2018. It is reproduced in full below.

Washington, D.C. - Today, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) announced a change to his senior staff, naming Stephanie Parks as Health Subcommittee Staff Director:

“A proud alumna of our Committee, it is a pleasure to welcome Stephanie Parks back to the team. We’ve been able to achieve a lot this Congress to help lower costs and increase competition in the health care market while strengthening the integrity of the Medicare program. Stephanie will be a great leader in helping us build on that success."

Parks most recently served as Assistant to the Speaker for Policy for Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), focusing on health care and veterans’ affairs issues. Prior to that, Stephanie was Professional Staff for the Ways and Means Health Subcommittee, serving under Chairman Brady and then-Chairman Ryan. Stephanie also previously worked as a staff member for the House Budget Committee. Stephanie is a Las Vegas native and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
