Neal Statement on Developments in Tax Returns Case

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement regarding the Department of Justice’s position in the Committee’s ongoing lawsuit to access former President Donald Trump’s tax returns:

“As I have maintained for years, the Committee’s case is very strong and the law is on our side. I am glad that the Department of Justice agrees and that we can move forward."
