Neal Statement on Ruling in Tax Returns Case

SPRINGFIELD, MA-Today, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement regarding Judge Trevor McFadden’s ruling in the Committee’s case to access former President Donald Trump’s tax information:

“This ruling is no surprise, the law is clearly on the Committee’s side. I am pleased that we’re now one step closer to being able to conduct more thorough oversight of the IRS’s mandatory presidential audit program."
