According to a May 5 EPA news release, a total of 22 companies were recognized as winners for the 2022 ENERGY STAR Award in the state of New York.
“We know it’s going to take all of us working together to tackle the climate crisis, and the 2022 ENERGY STAR award-winning partners are demonstrating what it takes to build a more sustainable future,” EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan said in the release. “These companies are showing once again that taking action in support of a clean energy economy can be good not only for the environment, but also for business and customers.”
These awards represent these companies' commitment to energy efficiency through ENERGY STAR. ENERGY STAR has served as a resource for energy efficiency in the U.S. for 30 years. The ENERGY STAR Awards are given in collaboration by the EPA and the DOE. A total of 210 organizations in 37 states across the country are ENERGY STAR partners.
